Jonathan Yob - Child Welfare Advocate Based in Tampa

A longtime resident of Tampa, Florida, Jonathan Yob is an honors-program alumnus of the University of South Florida. Since 2012, he has served as president of the Yob Family Foundation (YFF), a philanthropic organization that he founded. The YFF supports numerous charitable causes in the Tampa Bay area, with a particular focus on helping those children who are most in need. Under the leadership of Jonathan Yob, the YFF teamed up with AT&T Pioneers, a volunteer network, in support of A Kid's Place in Brandon, Florida. The union embodied YFF’s goal of forming partnerships that provide significant benefit for abused and neglected children in the community.

Through the YFF, Mr. Yob has also supported a range of regional charities and community initiatives, including the expansion at Berkeley Prep School, including its arts program facility, and the “Journey to Madagascar” exhibit at The Florida Aquarium. His endeavors through the YFF also include sponsorships for the foundation at the Grammy Museum’s Clive Davis Theater in Los Angeles, as well as leading the Grammy Museum’s youth-oriented Music Revolution Project expansion into the Tampa Bay Area. In addition, the YFF sponsored the Koala Encounter at ZooTampa, previously known as Lowry Park Zoo, which is dedicated to the protection of koalas and other species, while educating the public about endangered species and their conservation.
